Matt Evans, Managing Ecologist for Woodlands, Chicago Botanic Gardens.
Matt Evans will discuss ways to avoid ecologically harmful mosquito sprays and share alternative means to control mosquitos that don’t damage the helpful and necessary insects in our yards and community spaces.
Mr.Evans is involved in environmental work through several organizations, focused mostly on community stewardship in the forest preserves. He works on projects that transform natural areas from declining spaces to thriving resources providing ecosystem services, refuges for biodiversity in the modern world, and natural beauty.
Programs will be presented at Barrington Village Hall. Come at 9:30a for coffee and displays.
